Programme Lead for 

BA(Hons) International Management

Plymouth Business School (Faculty of Arts and Humanities)

 

Dear a Chinese student,

 

The programme team would like to warmly welcome you to Plymouth Business School and to your programme of study in BA (Hons) International Management Programme.  You are joining a vibrant and diverse group of students and staff in a hard-working School.  I hope that you will enjoy your time here and that your studies are successful.

 

Our aim is to help you become a confident and competent graduate, with the skills and knowledge that make you highly employable in the global marketplace.

 

Students study six 20-credit Level 6 modules and one 0 credit rated academic skills module all are taught full-time over one year on campus. The programme benefits from the excellent quality of staff from the University of Plymouth Business School, with particular research expertise in the area of International Management. 

 

As students on this programme, you are part of the vibrant Plymouth Business School community. In addition to the academic programme, the School offers a diverse range of activities to help you develop your full potential. Please make sure you take part in these exciting activities, whether they are cultural, sporting or additional academic skills building activities. These include the Bloomberg Room as well as those provided by the School Academic Skills Advisor and the University English Language Centre such as the Writing Café and coursework tutorials. Plymouth provides a wonderful environment in which to make new friends and to participate in social and sporting events.  During your time with us, we hope that you will take advantage of what the University and the South West of England has to offer.  

 

We look forward to working with you, we aim to make your time at Plymouth Business School a successful and enjoyable experience. If you do feel unsure of yourself or perceive that you are underprepared in a particular area, then please be open with us about this and we will help where we can.
